Paris, August 31 2026 — IRIS, the European Venture and Growth investor, is expanding its teams in Paris and Munich with the arrival of three new hires: Viktor Stoll joins the Growth team in Munich as Investment Manager; Pauline Ancona joins the Venture team in Paris as Senior Associate; and Alice Groth is appointed Head of Investor Relations.
With these appointments, IRIS further reinforces the investment capabilities of its Venture and Growth strategies, while bolstering its investor relations function as it continues to back European technology companies at every stage of their development.
Based in Munich, Viktor Stoll will source and execute Growth investments across Europe, with a particular focus on the German market. He will concentrate on B2B software and cybersecurity, two areas in which IRIS has built deep conviction and experience.
Viktor joins from Armira, where he was Investment Manager and focused on technology and services investments. Earlier in his career, he worked in Investment Banking at Bank of America in Frankfurt and gained private equity experience at Apheon, supporting buy-and-build platform investments across a range of sectors. He holds a Master’s degree in Finance from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management.
In Paris, Pauline Ancona joins the early-stage investment team as Senior Associate. She will contribute to the sourcing, evaluation and execution of Venture investments in France, with a particular interest in companies where digital technologies meet the physical world — from deep tech and space to health and industrial transformation.
Before IRIS, Pauline was an Investor at Alven, working with early-stage companies across Europe from the first meeting to investment execution. She previously developed a broad perspective on private markets at Quadrille Capital, where she worked across Growth Equity, Secondaries and Fund of Funds. Pauline started her career in Investment Banking at J.P. Morgan. She graduated from ESCP Business School in 2021, after completing Classes Préparatoires aux Grandes Écoles.
Alice Groth joins IRIS in Paris to lead Investor Relations. She will be responsible for nurturing relationships with the firm’s existing limited partners, broadening its investor network and supporting IRIS’ fundraising activities.

She began her career in traveltech and insurtech startups in Paris and Berlin, before moving into venture capital at Bpifrance and then Korelya Capital, where she worked as a Growth investor. Most recently, she was part of the founding team at SISTAFUND, spending nearly five years working across investments, fundraising and investor relations. Alice sits on the France Invest Under 35 Board of Directors and was featured in the Forbes 30 Under 30 list. She holds a double degree from HEC Paris and École Polytechnique through the X-HEC Entrepreneurs programme, and also studied at La Sorbonne and New York University.
